"Registration" is a shorthand way of saying "check-in and picking up your materials for those who have registered, and registration for those who have not."

On-Site Registration Hours

On-site registration, where you pick up your badge (required for attendance at most conference functions) and other materials, will be open during the following hours:

Saturday (August 6): 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Sunday (August 7): 8:00 am - 7:30 pm
Monday - Thursday (August 8 to 11):    7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday (August 12): 7:30 am - 10:00 am

For those of us who have registered, when will the kiosks be available for obtaining our badges?

Hello, Zvi,

Even if registration were to open at 7:30 a.m., anyone who plans to attend a session beginning at 8 a.m. should check in Saturday evening, because Sunday morning check-in usually is very busy with people who didn't check in Saturday evening. Hint: Don't come right at 7 p.m. Saturday because there's likely to be a long line of people who always begin to line up at 6 p.m. for some reason.

The first session on Sunday morning Sun-152 New Attendee Welcome and orientation starts at 8:00am
But according to the page, the on-site registration desk only opens at 8:00am.
Does that mean I need to register on Saturday evening if I want to attend the first session?
Thanks!  Zvi
