Dick Eastman has reported the FamilySearch International folks have opened the first Family Search Center outside of Salt Lake City in Bellevue, just a short distance from downtown Seattle. The center offers interactive experiences for visitors of all ages to discover, share, and preserve family histories and memories. It is free to the public. Find out more online at FamilySearch.org/discoverycenter/seattle. You can also read more about this on the free version of Dick Eastman's blog at http://blog.eogn.com/2015/08/21/familysearch-opens-a-new-seattle-family-disc overy-center/. Thanks to Dick Eastman for this information. Chuck Weinstein Co-chair 36th Annual IAJGS Conference on Jewish Genealogy August 7-12, 2016, Seattle WA chuck [at] iajgs2016.org www.iajgs2016.org
