The IAJGS Conference Online Family Finder has been updated and reflects
family research information added and revised by May 27.
If you have recently changed your Conference password, you will not be able to log in to the Family Finder with the new password. Please look at your original registration confirmation e-mail and use the password assigned to you then. It looks like this: AKZX8653.
*Important:* If you use "caps lock" to type the letters, turn it off before typing the numbers. Though they look the same on the screen, numbers with caps lock have a different machine code.
*Hint:* You can type the letters in lower case when logging into either system.
I am sending individual e-mails this weekend to each registrant who recently changed his or her password (through May 27), showing the Conference password. Please save this password not only for the Family Finder, but also because it will replace the password you gave yourself.
Why must we do this? Because the registration system encodes self-assigned passwords in a way that cannot be understood by the Family Finder login routine. Why not? I don't know.
