Kashruth Options

When you select a meal, the meal options open up below the name of the meal.  For the Banquet, there are chicken, fish, and vegetarian options, both Kosher and non-Kosher.  We worked to make sure the Kosher and non-Kosher meals throughout the Conference are as alike as possible.

This message serves, too, as a reminder, that all meal choices must be completed by Monday evening, July 10.  No changes can be made after that date. There are no other Kosher options in the hotel or immediately nearby.  There are three non-Kosher restaurants in the hotel, and a wide variety of excellent dining establishments within a short walk of the hotel. Don’t forget, too, there are Kosher box lunches you can order now. After July 10, they will not be available.  No food, Kosher or otherwise, will be available for sale on the Conference floor.

For Kosher restaurants, however, you will need transportation.  Pabla Indian cuisine in Renton and Issaquah, The Bamboo Garden Vegetarian Chinese Restaurant, about two miles from the hotel, and Uwajimaya Asian Fish Restaurant, about two miles from the hotel, are certified by the Va’ad Ha-Rabanim of Seattle.  There are no meat Kosher restaurants in the Seattle area. There are additional vegetarian restaurants in the area, but they have not been certified.

We are getting more and more excited as the Conference nears.  Check with the hotel, if you do not have a room, yet, as they may still have a few.  There are still rooms available at the Hyatt Olive 8, about three blocks away, as of today.  See you in just 1 month!
