We look forward to meeting all of you at the conference! I've detailed
below the highlights of our LitvakSIG programming - we do hope to see
you!

LitvakSIG is proud to announce that this years we have a distinguished
guest speaker from Vilnius, Virginija Cijunskiene, who is the director
of the Lithuania State Historical Archive. She will deliver three
lectures; please see the details below:

Sunday afternoon 13:30-17:00 we'll be at the SHARE Fair with
searchable computers to find your relatives and join/renew membership.

Monday morning we start early 7:30-8:45 with the Suwalki Research
Group BOF; grab your coffee/tea etc and come along. Early evening our
District Coordinators will hold a private meeting.

Tuesday afternoon from 16:30-17:45 Ruth Leiserowitz will present, "
Litvakian Traders in Cross-Border Traffic – an Example from 1838"

Wednesday morning 10:30-11:35 our guest speaker from abroad, Virginija
Cijunskiene, will present "Jewish History Resources in Lithuania State
Historical Archives".  In the afternoon at 15:00-16:15 Jill Anderson
will be helping all those BOF from Telsiai and Sauiliai.

Thursday is LitvakSIG day! From 9:00-10:!5 Judy Baston will meet with
Lida District and Oshmiany District BOFs. Following at 10:30-11:45 we
will hold our Annual Meeting with reports of the past year, election
of new officers and time for Questions and Answers. Our luncheon,
oversubscribed at this time, will be at 11:45-13:15 where we will
feature Virginija Cijunskiene's presentation, "Jewish Genealogy
Sources in Lithuania State Historical Archives". Stay turned for
13:30-14:45 Amy Wachs will meet you at the Trakai District BOF. Make
sure to mark your calendars for 15:00-16:15 when Judy Baston's will
present her new and informative "Researching Your Litvak Roots -- with
LitvakSIG and More".

Friday we kick off the day at 8:30-9:45 with Virginija Cijunskiene's
third and final presentation at the conference, "Glimpses of Lithuania
Jews XIX century - History". Following we have two additional BOFs:
10:45-11:25 Svencionys District with Rhoda Miller, and at 11:30-12:45
the Kupiskis-Rokiskis BOF.
