IAJGS2016Discussion Mailing List: attendee list in the app

In order to appear in the attendee list, you have to set up your profile
in the app and make it public.  Conference registration does not set up
the attendee list in the app.  YOU control who sees you as an attendee. 
However, if you want all other attendees to see you, you should mark
your profile "public."
