My great-uncle, Samuel MATZKIND arrived in Seattle immediately after the San Francisco earthquake and I believe was head of an Orthodox Jewish School for a number of years. He moved on to Aberdeen and opened an optical store, but is buried in Seattle in 1925. His two sons continued the business but had a falling out in the 1940-50 period.  Is anyone aware of who I can contact to learn more about the Jews in early 20th century Seattle and Aberdeen and possibly this family?
